2006 - THE END
SocraTeez started in 2006 with nothing more than a single manual press and a passion for custom printing. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a full-time business. As demand grew, we added two more manual presses and a one-head embroidery machine, expanding our capabilities and client base.
By 2010, we had outgrown our space and moved into a 3,300-square-foot facility on 4th Avenue South, just outside downtown Nashville. With this expansion, we invested in two automatic presses and two two-head embroidery machines, allowing us to take on larger orders with greater efficiency. Business was booming, and by the end of 2019, we were operating at full speed, fulfilling a major contract with Metro Schools and keeping up with nonstop demand.
Then COVID hit. Schools shut down, sports came to a halt, and corporate apparel budgets were frozen. Almost overnight, everything stopped. With no orders coming in, we had to make the difficult decision to shut down operations and rethink everything.
During that time, we redefined how we do business. We streamlined our processes, cut unnecessary costs, and optimized our workflow. Now, we operate with half the space, twice the efficiency, and produce an even higher-quality product for our clients.
SocraTeez has been through ups and downs, but we came out stronger. Today, we’re proud to offer top-notch custom printing and embroidery with a smarter, more efficient approach—proving that adaptability and passion can keep any business moving forward.
